The Vuelta a Espana 2023 produced an unexpected winner and Jumbo Visma managed to complete the grand tour hat-trick as Sepp Kuss fought hard despite the minor internal struggles and at the finish in Madrid they had Sepp Kuss, Jonas Vingegaard and Primoz Roglic on the podium a sensational achievement for the team.

On the second rest day, it is time to reflect on the hectic second week with the incredible Jumbo Visma dominance on the Col du Tourmalet, Remco Evenepoel cracking and then winning a breakaway stage and fighting for the polka dot jersey with Filippo Ganna salvaging something for Ineos Grenadiers on the time trial stage.
But Jonas Vingegaard, Primoz Roglic and Sepp Kuss occupy the podium spots and illustrate the ruthless dominance of the team. But who will be the victor in Madrid?

After a devastating stage for Remco Evenepoel Stage 14 was a day for redemption and he got himself in the breakaway and emerged as the strongest rider dispatching Romain Bardet as the last man standing and won the stage.

Col du Tourmalet was the test for the peloton and Jumbo Visma destroyed the field and Remco Evenepoel dropped out of contention while Jumbo managed to finish 1-2-3 on top of the mountain with Jonas Vingegaard the victor.

On an intense finish in Zaragoza it was a brilliant move by UAE Team Emirates that led to a win by Juan Sebastian Molano ahead of the fast sprint lead out from Alpecin for Kaden Groves. Primoz Roglic managed to gain some bonus seconds on his rivals but they all await the Col du Tourmalet on Stage 13.
