On the 12th stage of the Tour de France Cofidis managed to get their second stage victory in the Tour after Ion Izagirre timed the perfect attack and no one was able to close the gap. Mathieu van der Poel had been out in front earlier but was not able to sustain the gap on the final climb.

Jasper Philipsen once again showed he is the faster rider in the race even without the use of his lead out man Mathieu van der Poel taking the victory the fourth in the race. Wout van Aert was badly positioned so couldn't fight for the win equally Biniam Girmay was not placed in the best spot by his team

Stage 10 was a brutal stage as the breakaway was very aggressive, while Pello Bilbao managed to get away who was a threat to the general classification as well. Mathieu van der Poel and Wout van Aert attack on a downhill but the move didnt last long in the finale it was Pello Bilbao who won the stage and gained places in the GC as well.

Today’s guest is the first New Zealand world tour pro to be interviewed on the channel Michael Vick. Michael has a untraditional way to the world tour being picked up by the superteam UAE Team Emirates after some incredible performance on the virtual training platform my whoosh however, Vink is not just any rider as he has plenty of successes to his name already winning the National Road title in 2012 aged 21 and also the New Zealand classic in 2012 to name a few. The 9th stage of the 2023 Tour de France was from Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat to the summit finish at Puy de Dôme. The profile provided another Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard to clash after the stage win was settled by the breakaway and won by Mike Woods

The 8th stage of the Tour de France, unfortunately, saw the abandonment of Mark Cavendish crashing mid-stage. In the final Mads Pedersen and Lidl Trek were able to take the win ahead of both Jasper Philipsen and Wout van Aert who will be frustrated as their teams controlled most of the day.

On a mountain stage that included the Col du Tourmalet, Jumbo Visma ripped the race up but Tadej Pogacar was able to answer the pace and attack Jonas Vingegaard on the final climb to win the stage. Jonas Vingegaard overtakes the yellow jersey and Jai Hindley sustains his podium place in 3rd place overall.
